Demanding an end to gun violence.

On Tuesday, December 12th 2023 a young mother in our community was struck by a bullet while preparing her child for school in the morning; this demands action. We gathered to denounce the violence and demand more investments in anti-violence initiatives and no budget cuts to needed community-centered programs in Canarsie.

Council Rep. Mercedes Narcisse.

We appreciate our local elected for joining us & helping to co-lead this movement in our community to end gun violence. Her support was pivotal in securing funding for a cure violence site in NYCHA Bay View Houses.

Support Survivors.

When a bullet is fired it tears through the very fabric of our community and family members of the victim. We must have comprehensive programs and support for survivors of gun violence.

Not One More.

Our campaign started when we lost 18 year old Jamere Jones. We will continue to fight until we end gun violence in Canarsie.
